This is a commercial I made with the help of my friend/ cameraman Will Frieman.  I had just got out of school and I was itchin’ to shoot a commercial, so I approached the owner of Calliente Grille in Hattiesburg, MS with the concept of “Caliente Action Burrito” and he loved it.  I directed, edited, and did the special effects.  The owner of Caliente was really excited about the finished product and I was super happy I could work an explosion into something.

I did an internship at RARE Design in Hattiesburg, MS in spring 2010 and most of my work consisted of coding for web.  This website was put together in Illustrator by one of their staff designers and handed off to me to actually put it together.  It was a pretty quick turn around and a great learning experience.  I implemented a php header and footer, a php contact form and seamlessly brought in wordpress for the news section so the client could easily update the news section.

These are from one of my branding project at the University of Southern Mississippi.  I created a logo and campaign for a made up coffee company.  I was really pleased to have the chance to bring mustaches into my work.

This was a collage-turned-typography project from an illustration class at the University of Southern Mississippi.  The assignment was to go on a walk and write down everything we saw then make collages based on that.  Then the professor threw us for a loop and asked us to make typographic posters from them and I met that challenge full on and produced these babies.

This is a student project from my time at the University of Southern Mississippi.  The assignment was to create some sort of unique promotional material for a made up business.  I chose to create something for a tuxedo rental services.  The piece you see above contains a magnet, allowing you to “Fancy-fy” your fridge by sticking this bad boy on it.  The piece begins as a bow tie and unfold to become a full length tie and then unfolds a third time to show the company’s mantra.  This promotional piece also has a few lines to write when the customer’s tie is due back, but because of the unique idea of having a fancy fridge the customers would be more likely to keep this item around and thus be a reminder for next time they need to get fancy.

This is a logo and business card i made for a home theater wiring business.  The client approached me with the Back to the Future logo and said “I want this!” I spent a little time talking with the client about why he in fact did NOT want a Back to the Future clone for a logo and put together this logo and came up with the tag line “Your home in HD.”  The client was ecstatic when he saw the new look so I created a business card to sweeten the deal.

This is the website I made for my senior project.  It is based on wordpress and has social networking capabilities.  Users can sign up, post videos, send messages to one another and of course dig through all the great films that are hosted on this site. you can view the full site HERE!

This is a DVD box set i created as part of my senior project at the University of Southern Mississippi.  The box set consists of three DVD’s of short films and a booklet that gives all sorts of information about each film.

These are the motion graphic intro and bumps for my senior project at the University of Southern Mississippi.  We were essentially tasked with coming up with something awesome and building a campaign around it, so I came up with an idea for a short film television segment that showed user submitted content.  I wanted to create something where indie filmmakers could communicate, collaborate and share their work, so I also created a fully function website based on wordpress with social networking capabilities.  But I digress… The first of these three motion graphic pieces is the intro to the Television segment and the other two are bumps that are stuck in between the content to remind the viewer what they are watching.  I created all three of these in Adobe AfterEffects CS4.  It was seriously a blast to work on.
